Collection: Light & Love

In my Light + Love collection, I call on the wisdom of Pearl and Mother of Pearl. Pearls are unique among gemstones because they don’t grow in the depths of the earth but are born from the sea. They require no special cutting or polishing to maximize their lustrous beauty. Their reflective glow illuminates and amplifies self love, empathy and compassion.

The creation of a pearl begins with an irritation -- a piece of grit, which challenges the tender flesh of the oyster. In response, the oyster builds up layers of calcium carbonate around the discomfort, gradually growing the pearl.

May we have the courage to meet challenges and irritation with grace. Surrounding our pain and dicomfort with layers of compassion, deeper understanding and radical self love.
