"Seed" Pendant Story:

When working on new ideas and ambitions, I have found it helpful to enlist my subconscious for support. This can look like me having an idea and simply writing it down. I could pin it up on a board or let it rest in between the pages of a journal. After a short time of processing and ideating, I let the idea go as I move on to other work. While I am busy doing other things, my subconscious mind is puzzling, calculating, mapping, and looking for data to support the seedling. I imagine baby roots growing as the seedling germinates in the dark of my mind as it prepares to be plated.  

Have you ever germinated a seed? It feels like magic. You place the seed in a damp paper towel inside a plastic bag, then you place it on a dark shelf and wait. One day you remember. “Oh! My seed!.” When you go to check on it, little roots have sprouted, and the seed is ready to plant.
